Mr. Pen Vandarong received his BA degree in Business Management from The University of Cambodia (UC) in 2008. Currently, he holds the position as Assistant to Chief Operation Officer (COO) at Kaksekor Limited.
He described his study experience and how he had succeeded with his study at UC, and how his study at UC has contributed to his success at work and in life:
“The courses that I studied at UC strengthened my familiarity in international education and academic research because English was the language of instruction.
As most of the academic doctrines are written in English, so a sound knowledge in English has greatly facilitated my learning experience and development. Most of the lecturers were overseas graduates; thus, not only had they shared their knowledge, but also experiences on how to win scholarship placements and to take advantage of life as international students. In addition, the course structure was flexible, and the (business) school supported me in arranging the courses to fit my graduation plan. As a result, it took me only nine terms to complete my Bachelor’s degree, which was very time effective and cost efficient.
My BA degree at UC built solid fundamental skills in different aspects of business administration, which can be used to steadily progress my career. This strong foundation, together with my professional qualifications and aspiring future goals, has enabled me to win the Chevening Scholarship to continue my graduate study in the United Kingdom in 2013. Therefore, I would say, with all the foundation and progress that I have made, I can ensure myself to be among the top calibers wherever I work.”Share on Facebook
